On February 21st, over 500 people gathered at Park Street Church in Boston to celebrate God’s creation and pledged to become more grateful stewards through Lenten commitments such as fasting from using a clothes dryer, fasting from using plastic water bottles, and purchasing more organic fairly traded goods. Shane Claiborne, an internationally-known author and speaker, challenged all present to be audacious in their commitments to change.
