In the same way, the global and local concerns of our world are more interrelatedthan we realize. Increasingly, the connections between human trafficking, food deserts, gang violence, access to quality education, global poverty and many other issues are surprise and astound us.

This fall we’ve launched JusticeLINK – BFJN’s programming designed to connect Christians to a theologically informed perspective on local and global justice issues. Through conversation, JusticeLINK helps the Church understand how our collective effort – across denominations, issues and organizations – can build the Kingdom of God.

The series kicks off nextThursday, October 6th. At this first JusticeLINK event, we’ll be exploring how localized economic development – focusing on Egleston Square in Boston – has helped contribute to a reduction in youth violence in that neighborhood.
