Lazarus at the Gate Workshops
The Boston Faith & Justice Network offers Lazarus at the Gate workshops, shorter intensive sessions that present some of the material covered in the small group curriculum in an interactive larger group format. These workshops are adaptable to various timeframes and audiences.
Through small group activities, reflection on scripture, and short multi-media presentations, we challenge each other to consider the call to a dynamic lifestyle of generosity in pursuit of a just world. We cover the four major themes from Lazarus at the Gate in a dynamic, seminar-style context:
- Live gratefully—How do we spend joyfully, recognizing how much we have been given?
- Live justly—How can we make lifestyle changes to consume more justly?
- Live Simply—How can we spend less on ourselves?
- Live Generously—How do we thoughtfully give to address global and local needs?
